ABOUT US

GD Goenka Toddler House, Guwahati is a preschool with a difference and first of its kind in the North East.

The school follows the International curriculum which lays special emphasis on innovative techniques, resources and strategies, enabling each child a hands-on learning experience in a child friendly environment. In addition to the normal pre-school classes the school also caters to children of 1year to 18 months through a specially designed programme called ‘Mom and Me’, wherein the mother experiences the growing of a child in an interactive environment away from home under the guidance of trained facilitators and professional counsellors.

The school is centrally located with spacious green surroundings ideal for the overall growth and development of children.

The school has grown over the period of time, we have included public speaking for the tiny tots in their daily curriculum. We have also brought about inclusive education in our folds including special educators. The Abacus program has also been introduced. Competitions are held every month to prepare our babies for high school.

Hi everyone,

For me, GD Goenka Toddler House has never been just a school — it has been a vision, a passion, and a long-awaited dream to contribute meaningfully to the world of education.

From the very beginning, my aim was to create a nurturing space where learning is filled with joy, curiosity, and creativity — a place where every child feels valued and inspired to explore their unique potential.

As an Art Therapist and Graphologist, I have always believed in the power of expression, emotion, and creativity in shaping young minds. Working closely with children has shown me that every child learns differently — some through words, others through colors, sounds, or movements. This realization strengthened my resolve to make GD Goenka Toddler House an inclusive learning environment where every child, regardless of their abilities, can thrive.

With this vision, we have taken a significant step forward by introducing an inclusive education program at our school. We now have special educators, therapists, and support professionals working hand-in-hand to ensure that children with special needs receive the right guidance, attention, and care.

Our goal is to help them grow with confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging — side by side with their peers

Children continue to be my greatest inspiration. Their innocence, honesty, and unfiltered creativity remind me every day that education is not just about academics — it's about touching lives, nurturing hearts, and building a compassionate world.

This journey with GD Goenka Toddler House has been one of growth, discovery, and deep fulfillment. I am immensely grateful to our team, our parents, and most importantly, our children — the true heart of our school — for trusting and walking with me on this beautiful path.
